I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and have been working with individuals and couples for over 14 years.
I specialize in helping people see themselves in a more positive light, and cutting WAY down on the negative self talk. In my experience, this leads to a huge decrease in anxiety and depression in people’s lives.
Often we find ourselves in systems, situations, or relationships that are not working for us. Try as we might, we can’t seem to make things work and we blame ourselves, that somehow we are not good enough, or smart enough, or whatever enough to make things work.
It is possible that you are not the problem. The problem may be the way you are approaching a situation, or it may be that the situation or relationship is toxic or unhealthy for you.
And that’s where I come in. I invite my clients to look at things from different perspectives. I encourage my clients to find what works for them, what makes them happy, what brings them joy, and to discover how they want to be treated by others.
We may need to process and work with past traumas. We may need to practice boundaries around situations or people who are unhealthy for you.
Sometimes we have been adapting to a situation for so long, that we forget and abandon parts of ourselves that really are yearning to come forward.
Those sensitive and sensing parts, those vulnerable and caring parts, those quiet and contemplative parts, those smart and inquisitive parts.
How do we go about doing that?
We make it safe enough for ALL OF YOU to show up.
The good, the bad, and the ugly – yup – all of you.
All parts are welcome to the party.
We are inclusive, no parts left behind, no wallflowers, no judging, no shame. And we do this slowly, and kindly, with curiosity and compassion.
So let’s take the first step. Reach out and connect with me.
